the weekend

I leave for the biostation tomorrow, and everything is ready. New bike, clean clothes, things in boxes. Unfortunately I could not snag the microwave. My roomate said he was bringing an acoustic-electric guitar, and I'm bringing my amp and uke. Could be fun! I hope I get to read some while I'm there.

Also, my friend Marci recorded some cello for me over this ukulele song I made a month ago. I am impressed twice over because it is a good cello part, but also because she had never recorded before. I guess Garage Band is pretty easy to use. Andrew said he wants to reunite TAPE now that I'm free of other obligations, but I'm electrosomber, he's dancerock. Though, I would enjoy a guest electric guitarist, noisist, and idiophonist without being so family about it. I've been in a family band before.

Finished the Watchmen. The depth of it took me by surprise. Like a classic mystery, it all came together in the end, and quickly. After I finished it I bought 9 Turkey eggs for a dollar. Two of the three I made breakfasts with were double-yoked. What a special Mother's day!

A man walks outside my house who appears to be continually slowing down, as if to check each mailbox, but never stops.
