Let there be light, in the study room

My Computer is fixed, and its new name is Templeton. Here's my first post on this new-ish machine.

There are times when I still feel like I am in London. This was more prevalent over the Christmas break, especially when walking alone to the QD for milk and bread. So many a weeknight were spent trudging around the drizzly corner of Maida Vale and Kilburn Park for a pint of milk and some Walker's Beef and Onion crisps. The Phantom London Pheeling was gone for a while, but now it is back with the warmer weather! I don't have any of those pictures on my computer anymore, but the blog history should still have 'em. Here are some recent photos...

Last weekend was the Outdoorama in Novi and the FW club volunteered there. I basically stuffed little White Pines into plastic baggies for four hours each day. People would come and take them home to plant. It was a repetitive job, one which required strange verbiage in order to stay interested. I tried using many modifications of "It's a pine tree you can plant in the spring." Including, "Isa Easa WhiPie, plaon ina Spre. Keep it ina garawje, or ya freej."

Then I went Barbarian with Amy, cause we were hungry!

Finally, our affectionate musical group, La Remodea, has shaped up a demo for the MSU Battle of the Bands. It includes three songs: Shipwrecked, Too Cool, and Oak Grove. You can listen to them at www.myspace.com/laremodea. And, here's the picture we took for the application.
