Curriculum is that which we make our students undergo in the name of learning. Vague definition for a vague concept of educational materials, methods and experiences. While reading the AAAS Benchmarks for Science Literacy my brain keeps repeating "Omigod, omigod, omigod..." over its painstaking sluggish pace, and its flowery idealism of an interdisciplinary approach to science. I wish I had that kind of science upbringing. The questions my and kin and I are faced with at this level are near to impossible to answer!
