the holidays

My autumn exams followed suit with how I performed on all the midterms; lackluster. Though my grades may have fallen like the million vermillion leaves of East Lansing, I had a great experience this semester and did well in the classes I enjoyed. My schedule for the spring is nearly complete, and it appears for the moment as though I will not need to sell my sister for books. Yay!

My favorite Xmas gift is the three slotted guitar stand, because it works sooooo well. But, my mom framed a very important printed painting for my birthday. It's quite possibly the one easily identifiable thing that made me want to do what I want to do.

Unfortunately for me (but fortunate for the bums) I got lots of monies from the grandparents which was promptly lost on the soggy streets of Ann Arbor, MI on the night of December 30th. The whole wallet, with everything that can usually be found within one, fell from my car driving lap to the unforgiving paveway as I stood on my walking feet. Not to worry, however; aside from the slight hassles of calling banks and the credit card company no major harm has been done. I'm used to being poor. I do need a new student ID and driver's license though. Oh Drug!
