I've had some computer trouble this week, spurning from the fact my computer is devoid of Power Point, and system restore has become the new plaid.

I talked my counselor (and some other Lyman Briggs faculty) about the STEPPS program and dual majoring. I have decided to join the STEPPS program, which is a joint effort between the Lyman Briggs school of science, the James Madison school of law and the Fisheries and Wildlife department. So, in essence, I will be able to take any class from the three areas of study without any major addition of credit requirements. Some examples from the range now at my fingertips: ENG 483 Literature and Medicine, FW 481 Global Issues in Fisheries and Wildlife, LBS 335 Natural Environment Perception and Practices, JRN 412 Environment Reporting. I will not have to take any lame physics prerequisites or anything in order to take these classes either. Doubleplusgood!

Hopefully, the IM Circle pool will be all fixed up so I can work next week. I had to take hours this weekend at the freezing cold polo tournament. But, I was able to catch up with high school teammates, so it was worth it.

Zach and I were able to hang out and make music with Nate Bliton today, and we've decided Friday (after 4) was a good time to do it again. On the home front, the roomies and I have vowed for the second week in a row to shape our shit up. My dear friends, if you would only stop calling me I could take the time to make a list of house chores and buy a small desk shelf for to organize my books, and wall stickers for to hang things from the plain eggshell walls behind my computer, and open the closet by the front door and remove from it the recyclables that have been swept out of sight since we moved in, and hide wires from the surround sound in the living room, and move furniture so that each table can have a lamp and so one table is not hogging both incandescents, and lift weights so that our collective room population stamina can then be great enough to accomplish such lofty goals without falling asleep. Or maybe call me and just tell me to "shape your shit up." I can give you Jake and Dave's phone numbers and you can tell them too...goooooooood niiiiiiiight.
