in the University Library

Here's the Athens Pop Fest schedule of bands.

We found places to swim and shower yesterday around the town. The lake was like a hot tub! We also talked to an old E6-er, who introduced us to other E6-ers. Michiganders are everywhere.

The University of Georgia, and its immediate surroundings reminds us of MSU and the inherent ability of a college campus to cause change.

On a letterbox quest we became lost and entrappt in the thorny Athens woods, found a fiberglass castle, ruled by children. Little Kings perhaps, near the Baptist church parking lot on Prince and Pulaski.

Did you see the Mountain Goats? I've been listening to them often over the course of the summer. Especially "This Year." Good song.

yea, he was a lot of fun because of his between song banter. you can tell, in his songs and his crowd conversation, he just has so much he wants to say...about everything. he seems to have taken an approach i've never mastered; the "that's something cool, I don't want to forget about it, other people should know, I'll make a song about it" approach.
