Rocka My Soul!

Though I haven't felt particularly musical the past week or two, there has been a lot going on. It always happens that when I'm bored at work, great thoughts spawn, with no apparent beginning or ending; just epiphanies that vanish when I get distracted at home.

Heidi's (right) short film, Sweatpants Kid, is coming together and Zach and I are both tuning songs to it; themes, accompaniments and perhaps even back round sounds. It's a first for us both.

On top of that I found a neato website with instructions on how to build a contact microphone. I was pretty excited and curious after hearing this. So far I have only experimented on solid state, hollow materials within reach of my longest guitar cord, but I have a feeling liquids is where the juicy stuff is at, no pun intended.

Finally, my friend and fellow musician Nate Bliton filled in a bass part lacking from one of The Remins' songs!
