Oh, Bessie

Today I went to the bank and got some loan issues sorted out with my dad, then we went to another bank where we had 376 USD exchanged for 200 GBP. The British bills are a bit wider, and a bit thinner than American dollars. They're also predominantly pastel colored and have these foil stamps on them that are pretty flashy. I hope you love the Queen, she's on every bill. And I hope you love 8-string Hagstroms, and 12-string Vox Phantoms too.

Bought me a coffee grinder that's the best one I could find

Oh, he could grind my coffee, 'cause he had a brand new grind
He's a deep sea diver with a stroke that can't go wrong

He can stay at the bottom and his wind holds out so long [...]
He boiled my first cabbage and he made it awful hot

When he put in the bacon, it overflowed the pot

Oh my man makes me breakfast, he makes me cereal.
Ooh my man makes me breakfast, he makes me cereal.
Oh when he pours the milk, he never misses the bowl.
